After turning on TalkBack, you can also use Explore by touch, which reads screen elements when you move your finger over them. Faster movements are considered gestures. Explore by touch can only be used with TalkBack. The system prompts you to activate this feature the first time you turn on TalkBack.

If you do not have One Touch Activation checked in TalkBack settings, whether you have set TalkBack focus on a specific object with a navigation gesture or an exploration touch, the element is activated by double-clicking quickly on the screen anywhere. To call the context menu of an element, you also need to focus on it. and double-tap the screen, but after the second touch, do not lift your finger. And even so, it happens that the context menu still opens for another element, therefore it is better to double-tap and hold while physically standing on the element for which you call the context menu.

Single Talkback Gestures:

• Up or Left – move to the previous item. • Down or Right – Move to the next item. these gestures are duplicated, that is, that to the right, that to the bottom – 1 devil the focus will go to the next element.

double straight gestures with one finger:

Fast Right-and-Left – scroll forward one screen in the list Fast Left-and-Right – scroll the list back one screen, I mean fixed scrolling by the size of the screen. The same gesture flips through desktop screens, tabs, etc. Also, this pair of gestures is used to change the value of the sliders;

Fast Up-and-Down – increases the detail. Fast Down-and-Up – decreases the detail. (in the latest versions of Android this gesture does not work, it can be assigned, since it was generally convenient). the same gestures are also used to move to the first and last item on the screen: to the first element – up and down; to the latter, respectively, up and down. (this gesture works).

Corner gestures:
You need to check them on your device in the TalkBack settings, because in different versions of Android and TalkBack they changed, they can be reassigned
,
an example way:
Settings / Special features / TalkBack / TalkBack settings / gesture control, (there may be options – (or customizing gestures, or custom gestures). or try to open the global TalkBack menu with a corner gesture. on each gesture, press quickly twice – a list of actions will open that can be reassigned to it. Then find the flag and mark it.

They are executed quickly, from the center of the screen in the specified direction,

A total of 8 corner gestures are possible, initially the following commands are assigned to them:

down and to the right –
open the global TalkBack menu (for some reason it is also called “TalkBack reading control menu).” a menu of several buttons will open, located in a circle, in the center of which there is a “cancel” button; slide in a circle without lifting your finger, reaching the desired button to raise your finger.

up and to the right –
local TalkBack menu,
(detailing movement, selection and copying of text). It also looks like a circle with a “cancel” button in its center, act the same way.

the rest seem to vary greatly from version to version:

Down and left –
a command similar to pressing the Back key.

Up and left –
analogue of long holding of the Home key, that is, open the panel of the most recently used applications.

right and down –
open the notification panel.

left and up –
last running applications or something like that, did not quite understand from the translation.

there are also gestures (there should be 8 angular gestures in total), some of them are not written here, and some are not involved.

more about TalkBack menu:
The TalkBack gesture building system allows only 12 options, but more functions need to be implemented. Therefore, there are two gestures, down and to the right –
open the global TalkBack menu and
up and to the right –
local TalkBack menu,
containing items with additional features. Items in the global menu are always unchanged, while in the local menu they depend on the application in which the menu is called, i.e. it is contextual. After opening the radial menu, you must continuously slide your finger in a circle and TalkBack will call items. To select an item under your finger, you must release your finger. There may be several levels, when we select an item in the first level radial menu, which opens a second level radial menu with the same principles of work, but with new points.
For example, since the text editing work has been implemented, which is carried out through the local radial menu of the second level, when called in active edit fields.

gestures of the Angroid system itself: When reading ordinary manuals, you just need to remember that when the touch learning mode is activated, then an additional movement is added to all gestures: if there is one touch, then we do two, if scrolling with one finger, then we do it with two, etc.

gestures with two fingers: they seem to be not TakBak ones, but standard ones: With two fingers slightly apart up or down –
smooth scrolling of the list by an arbitrary amount, move slowly
you will hear an up or down beep to get an idea of ??where you are in relation to the beginning of the list. If we make the gesture from the bottom up, move 2 cm away from the bottom edge of the screen, since there are touch buttons on it, and if from top to bottom, it is better to do from the center of the screen, because the notification panel will open at the top of this gesture.

The notification panel can be opened by pulling it down with two fingers. or like this:
Find the panel,
knock on it 2 times, but do not take your finger off the second, but hold it for a couple of seconds, and then pull it to the bottom of the screen. This is more convenient for those who have a balance or who are not very good at gestures.

Put 2 fingers slightly apart at the bottom of the eran and slowly lead up – the search bar will open,
in it you can search by voice or enter a search query in text.

left or right with two fingers – switch between windows;

To perform an unlock gesture on a standard Android device: 1.Keep the screen in portrait mode. 2.Tap your finger on the bottom left of the screen. If the KickBack program is running, the device will respond with a quick vibration when touched correctly. 3. Swipe right across the entire screen. The device will vibrate again when it is unlocked.

In order for the phone not to sound signals about incoming calls in the off state, you need to perform a gesture similar to the gesture to unlock the phone, but the movement should be from right to left. (to clarify whether this is relevant, because it is taken from an old article on the Typhlocomp).

***
Pick up the phone:
with two fingers, slide the bottom of the screen from left to right. Sighted people swipe one finger (as for unlocking the screen), but TalkBack adds 1 finger to the usual gesture. To reject a call, swipe back and forth from right to left.

Another option:
hit the “answer” button 2 times with hold on the second and drag the button across the screen.

***
switch between windows on android – Horizontal gesture with two fingers – you can also go left and right.

***
To activate the slider, Place two fingers on the slider, press it twice, and then, without letting go of two fingers, slide to the left to decrease the value of the slider, to the right to increase it.

Or almost the same, but there is no about 2 fingers:
You should hit (knock) twice on it, but the second time with a hold, then move the installed finger sharply to the right – this way the slider will be shifted by 100%. If a lower value is required, then move your finger across the screen with extreme caution – you will hear sounds similar to those of NVDA on Windows, which appear when increasing or decreasing the progress bar. You can twist it either horizontally or vertically, the main thing is that double-tapping while holding the slider does not lose focus, so that it works for the slider.

And if you just tap the slider twice, then it will move tens of percent forward or backward.

You can also move the slider like this: You need TB focus to be on the slider, gesture with one finger (without lifting from the screen) left and right (to zoom), and vice versa. In this case, the slider will move by 20%.

And if you focus on the slider and hit it twice, then the slider immediately becomes 50 percent, but there are sliders where for some reason this does not work.

Another possible option: On a nexus (possibly on Android since 4.3), just put your finger on the slider, and then with the volume rocker, you can turn it without releasing your finger …

How to move a shortcut:
Feel the tab with your finger using touch exploration,
you tap exactly on the shortcut twice with holding on the second tap, and drag it to the desired location. If you need to move to an adjacent desktop, you need to drag, respectively, to the left or right edge of the screen, there will be a list of desktop numbers, leave on the table with the desired number. If you need to remove the shortcut, with a sharp wave, send the shortcut up the screen, because there, when you hold the shortcut, the trash can icon appears.
