- People should automatically see my achievements.
- I would not stand that people think I brag.
- I’m not good enough for this job.
- Any other irrational belief that you hear you say to yourself.
- Challenge would, must and requirements for comfort and approval.
- Why is it awful to remind people of my worth?
- Why can I not stand that people think I brag, if it helps my career?
- Replace your irrational beliefs with more rational ideas.
- It is useful to find ways to show my value to the organization even if others do not like it.
- If I do not believe in myself, then who would?
- Develop a detailed plan to make key people aware of your accomplishments.
- Inform people orally or in writing when you have completed an important assignment or project.
- Report your successes in the company’s newsletter or intranet.
- Do not get discouraged or discouraged if others laugh at your efforts.
- Stay focused – your goal is to become known as a valuable employee.
- Take it easy and be persistent – success is a long-term project, not an immediate need.
